Intended Use
The AyoTes CLIA-based Interferon Gamma (IFN-γ) Test Kit is designed for the quantitative determination of interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) levels in human serum and plasma samples in vitro. Clinically, it is used to monitor immune function and inflammatory response, and—when used together with the Protein Extraction Kit—for the qualitative assessment of specific T-cell immune responses to Mycobacterium tuberculosis, serving as an auxiliary diagnostic tool for tuberculosis infection. The assay operates on a double antibody sandwich chemiluminescence principle, where magnetic particles coated with anti-IFN-γ antibodies capture IFN-γ from the sample, followed by binding with enzyme-labeled antibodies. The resulting immunocomplex generates light upon reaction with a chemiluminescent substrate, and the emitted signal—measured by the AyoTes Auto CLIA Analyzer—is proportional to the IFN-γ concentration in the sample.
