Intended Use
The AyoTes IFN-γ Protein Extraction Kit is designed for protein extraction and concentration from peripheral blood lymphocytes in heparinized whole blood samples, serving as a preparatory step for subsequent immunological testing. This kit does not contain any antigen, antibody, or probe that binds specifically to target molecules; instead, it facilitates the release of IFN-γ and other immune proteins from T lymphocytes after stimulation. It is used in conjunction with the AyoTes CLIA-based Interferon Gamma (IFN-γ) Test Kit to support the in vitro detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis-specific T-cell immune responses. During testing, whole blood is incubated in negative control, test extraction, and positive control tubes at 37 °C, followed by centrifugation to obtain plasma, which is then analyzed for IFN-γ concentration using chemiluminescent immunoassay.
