Intended Use
This kit is intended for use as a point-of-care test to quantitatively measure the content of serum amyloid A (SAA) and C-reactive protein (CRP and hs-CRP) in human samples (serum, plasma, capillary (fingerstick) whole blood or venipuncture (venous) whole blood) in vitro. SAA and CRP are clinically mainly used for the evaluation of inflammatory response; hs-CRP is commonly used as an auxiliary means for cardiovascular disease risk identification and can be used in combination with traditional clinical diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome as an early warning indicator of coronary artery disease or recurrence of acute.
