Intended Use
This kit is intended for the direct amplification of genomic DNA from plant tissue (e.g. leaves, seedlings, stems) without a DNA purification step. The kit uses a specialized lysis buffer to lyse plant tissue and release genomic DNA; the released DNA can be used directly as template in PCR. It is suitable for applications such as transgenic plant identification, plant genotyping, and other molecular biology applications involving plant DNA.
