Intended Use
Ribonuclease A (RNase A) is a bovine pancreatic endoribonuclease (approx. 13.7 kDa, contains four disulfide bonds) that specifically cleaves single-stranded RNA at cytidine (C) and uridine (U) residues by hydrolyzing phosphodiester bonds. It efficiently removes RNA in plasmid or genomic DNA preparations without requiring heat inactivation and is also suitable for RNase protection assays and RNA sequencing workflows. The recommended working concentration ranges from 1 to 100 µg/mL, depending on application. This product is intended for Research Use Only (RUO) and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
